Neuro-linguistic programming has been described as ‘the art and science of excellence’. (Introducing NLP, by Joseph O’Connor & John Seymour) As a relatively new science (it has been around since the 1970s) it has studied how the mind works, with verifiable and sometimes astonishing results. As an art it consists of a powerful and gentle approach to achieving outcomes. It represents an attitude of mind and a way of being in the world. NLP is practical. It offers effective techniques to deal with a wide range of issues, as well as ways to enhance confidence, relationships, motivation . . . the list goes on. The purpose of NLP is to increase choice and improve quality of life. I use it as part of my coaching tool-kit, as well as in my own life. Ring me if you want to know more about it. I will happily discuss it or point you in the right direction for further exploration.
